A Justice of the Peace was just arrested by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) in Starr County, Texas, on charges of assisting a Mexican drug cartel in moving toxic poisonous drugs into the USA. While many Americans are aware of the huge illegal immigration crisis that the criminal Biden regime has caused on our southern border, few are aware of how deeply American law enforcement and judicial officials have been corrupted by drug cartel cash. It’s shocking, because the mainstream media absolutely won’t tell you about these stories.
The only reason why Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Roel Valadez was arrested this week was because of a Trump administration DEA investigation that was launched in 2020. The Biden regime is doing nothing about the corruption, drugs and illegal immigrants pouring across our southern border.
Judge Valadez was arrested at his home in Starr County this week. An additional 18 suspects were arrested as part of the same conspiracy. The DEA, still acting on orders in an investigation that Donald Trump authorized last year, seized more than 2 pounds of deadly Fentanyl, three metric tons of pot, 660 pounds of methamphetamine, $100,000 in cash, and a bunch of vehicles and weapons. All 19 of the individuals arrested in this bust, including Judge Valadez, were indicted by a grand jury that was assembled while Donald Trump was still in the White House.
Starr County is a very rural county in Texas. It’s been a Democrat-controlled county since 1898 – the longest duration of any county in the United States. Its population is around 61,000. Hillary Clinton beat Donald Trump in Starr County in 2016 by a staggering 60 percentage points. Only Washington, DC is more liberal than Starr County. But in the 2020 election, Joe Biden only managed to beat Donald Trump by about 900 votes. The residents of Starr County are so frustrated by Mexican drug cartels that the majority-Hispanic county was very nearly won by Donald Trump.
Just how corrupt is Starr County? What follows are the most high-profile arrests there since 2008:
2008: Sheriff Reymundo “Ray” Guerra was caught giving free passage into the US for the Gulf Cartel. The sheriff went to prison on drug conspiracy charges.
2012: Sheriff’s deputy Nazario Solis was caught helping with drug shipments, and with providing the Gulf cartel with semiautomatic rifles. He was working directly with a Gulf cartel boss to facilitate this.
2013: Sheriff’s captain Romeo Javier “RJ” Ramirez got busted on bribery charges for leaking sensitive law enforcement information to the Gulf cartel.
2014: Sheriff’s deputy Amy Reyes was busted by the US Border Patrol with 75 pounds of pot in the trunk of her car at a checkpoint.
2015: Rio Grande City police officer Noel Pena, who was a member of the Starr County High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force, was arrested for staging fake drug seizures in order to steal the drugs for a rival cartel.
2015: Justice of the Peace Salvador Zarate was busted for accepting bribes in exchange for lower bail bonds for drug cartel members.
So… that makes it a Sheriff, two sheriff’s deputies, a sheriff’s captain, a city cop, and two Justices of the Peace arrested in less than nine years in a single border country. All of these people were taking cash to do the dirty work of the Gulf Cartel. This betrayal of the public trust is astonishing.
This will only get worse as long as Joe Biden and Kamala Harris allow the Mexican drug cartels to control our southern border. Just as they allowed the Taliban to take control of operations at the Kabul airport, Joe and Kamala have allowed the Gulf cartel to seize full control of the US-Mexico border in Starr County. This is a shocking amount of corruption and penetration of American institutions by a foreign mafia group that helped to popularize beheading videos on the internet.
Even if Dementia Joe and Kamala started actually enforcing the law tomorrow, the problems with our open border would not go away. Judge Valadez was only arrested this week because of the Trump administration, and a handful of patriotic DEA agents that carried out their mission months after the presidency was stolen from Donald Trump. And this is just one small county in southern Texas. Imagine how deep-seated the corruption is in other counties and states.
