Black Americans in New York City have sued the city over its plans to allow non-citizens to vote in city elections, calling the issue discriminatory.
The new plan would allow more than 800,000 foreign nationals to vote as long as they have lived in the city at least 30 days.
The New York City Council was aware of the discriminatory impact that the Foreign Citizen Voting Bill would have on the voting strength of Black voters. These concerns were raised by Council Members,” the lawsuit said.
“Despite this discriminatory impact and the knowledge that the New York City Council was without legal authority to grant foreign citizens the right to vote, the Council moved forward and passed the bill,” it added.
The lawsuit is the second on the issue. In January, the state’s Republican Party and others sued the city, challenging the law change as unconstitutional.
“The law is clear and the ethics are even clearer: we shouldn’t be allowing citizens of other nations to vote in our elections, full stop. We are only two weeks into the Adams Administration and he is already kowtowing to the radical City Council,” New York Republican Party Chairman Nick Langworthy said in a statement.
“This lawsuit is the only thing that will stop them from their ultimate goal of eradicating all the lines between citizens and non-citizens,” he added.
New York City’s new Democratic Mayor Eric Adams was expected to bring positive change to the city. But he has given his approval to the non-citizen voting plan, allowing the measure to pass.
“I believe allowing the legislation to be enacted is by far the best choice, and look forward to bringing millions more into the democratic process,” Adams said.
Did you catch that? The “best choice” to add “millions more” voters? How about the fact that the law is unconstitutional and would largely serve to put and keep pro-illegal immigrant Democrats in office?
His “millions more” comment also clearly implies more than New York City. The new law could apply to 800,000 in the Big Apple, but millions would require more places across the country to add similar policies.
If every state allowed non-citizens to vote, we would no longer be a nation governed by its citizens, but a nation ruled by whoever the government allowed to show up for 30 days or more before an election. That means Chinese citizens, Middle Eastern terrorists, even Russians who want to interfere in our elections again. This policy has to be stopped now before it moves forward and spreads nationwide with the potential to destroy elections and our very nation.
The nation may be arguing over election reform bills now, but non-citizens voting is an even deadlier prospect that would make America dead and gone instead of making America great again.
The Constitution is clearly written in such a way that only citizens are given the right to vote. The attempt to change laws in favor of international voters would greatly harm the city’s elections and set a dangerous pattern for the rest of the nation.

Is anyone really surprised look around at the Democratic Party and what they’re trying to do in all areas including letting letting unlimited numbers of immigrants in without vetting on top of that, Trying to put people in place in the cabinet to ultra our banking system just the starters.
Myself and many others were saying adams is just another corrupt anti-American democrat before the election but got voted in(maybe -who knows these days) anyways. NYC people deserve what they get, they are total glutens for voting in trash. Besides from that I really don’t believe a mayor of a city in a state that DOES NOT allow illegals to vote has the authority to mandate they can vote in that city. What chaos that will cause but of course that’s what democrats thrive on — creating havoc to distract from their corruption. Kudos to the Repubs and the black community for taking action against the complete stupidity of this mayor.
