Trump Unveils When He Will Announce 2024 Presidential Run

Former President Donald Trump has finally answered the question of when he will announce whether he will run for president again.

Fox News host Maria Bartiromo asked Trump last week, “Will you run again, Mr. President? Are you considering 2024?”

“First steps first, we have to see what we can do with the House,” the former president responded.

He added, “I think we have a very, very good chance of taking back the House.” Republicans need to gain five additional seats for an advantage in the House.

“We’ll make our decision after that,” Trump added. For the first time since leaving office, the former president offered a clear answer regarding when he will announce a presidential run.

Running again after losing is not unprecendented. Grover Cleveland lost his 1889 reelection, then ran again four years later and won in 1893. He was our 22nd and 24th president.

Trump also noted he still holds high levels of American support despite two attempts to impeach him. “I’m the only guy who gets impeached and my numbers go up,” he said. “Figure that one out.”

The developing timeline for Trump’s second presidential run is beginning to take shape. From now through November 2022, the former president intends to support conservatives to win back the House. He also intends to support new Republican challengers against those who voted to impeach him or who he considers weak conservatives.

If Republicans win the House in 2022 and retake the Senate, Trump would then announce his plans to run as a Republican presidential candidate. He would face other primary challengers in 2023 through early 2024 until a primary winner is determined.

Other Republican presidential candidates have been rumored, but many are waiting for Trump to decide whether he will run. His strong support will serve as the primary factor regarding whether other hopefuls, such as former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo or Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, choose whether to contend for the party’s nomination.

If Trump does move forward, a key issue will be his potential Vice Presidential running mate. Despite widespread support for former Indiana Gov. Mike Pence during his first campaign, the two leaders have seemingly had a falling out. Trump blamed Pence for failing to challenge the electoral vote prior to the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol building riot.

Rumors have already spread that Trump would like to select a female running mate to better compete against a Biden reelection or in a run against Vice President Kamala Harris. South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley have been mentioned by media.

Regardless of potential contenders or running mates, Trump’s chances of running and winning the Republican primary for the 2024 election appear strong. The question will be whether he will remain a viable contender in the general election.

With growing talk of Harris taking over presidential responsibilities along with Biden’s declining mental health, a Harris-Trump battle may be looming. The first woman of color presidential storyline versus a Trump comeback will offer an epic battle as the nation looks ahead to the possibilities of 2024.

Noem would be a good choice. Haley would not. She’s about as Deep State as they get, and she would stab Trump in the back in a heartbeat.

President Trump is such an intelligent businessman. It’s very smart to work on the 2022 election before committing to a bid for the 2024 presidential election. We must clear the house and senate of the corrupt communist democRats before a Republican president can accomplish anything. We MUST ALL VOTE and get the Republicans back in power to save America!

Trump needs to step aside for 2024, he’s got waaay too much baggage and would only serve to mobilize the opposition even more than he did in 2020. We need to get over this notion that Trump had no part in his loss and it was all fraud. He pissed off enough people on both sides and showed astoundingly bad judgement in who he surrounded himself with. We also forget that many of those RINOs we hate were elected by equally weak, spineless RINO voters. It won’t be easy to knock them off, though we have to try it, no matter what. De Santis & Nome would be a great ticket. Josh Hawley is also a true conservative who doesn’t back down. They are both young, energetic and unassailable, next to Trump. Trump needs to do what Obammy did, not go away and engineer revenge from outside.

A great big NO on Nikki Haley! Deep stater. Also NO WAY to Pence.
YES to DeSantis or Pompeo – Both are great. I like Pompeo.
Maybe to Kristi Noem although she’s young and has plenty of time to run later.
But most of all, I really want President Trump back at the helm. He did more
FOR America in four short years than anyone has in the last 150 years!!!!!
    MAGA

I hope President Trump will run again in 2024. He’s done a lot for our nation and knows how to handle different crises as we’ve seen in the past. He’s a proven leader with the intelligence needed to move our country forward to greater heights. He knows how to take low blows from anyone who despises him and let them roll of his back. He’s always thinking ahead about how to make our country stronger and better. He’s a man of prayer who loves God and is not ashamed to say so. As a Christian who loves the Lord above all others. I understand how anyone who is new in our faith, needs time to develop maturity in our faith. It’s taken me nearly 70 years to grow in the Lord and every day is new day of learning. President Trump is not self-centered but very robust in developing new concepts and modes of progress as he develops an concept until it becomes a strong reality. That’s what we need as a nation to be the front runner in all we do or say as a nation. President Trump made America stronger than all presidents since President Reagan. We need strong and bold leadership so that other countries don’t try to run over us. I think Vice President Pence did a good job and any animosity that may have come between him and Trump should prevent him from doing the job again. The main thing is for President Trump to win in 2024!
