Republicans are turning up the heat on President Biden and the Democrats – demanding the president finally take a cognitive test as his mental decline becomes more and more evident.
Over three dozen Republican lawmakers have signed a letter to call on the 79-year-old Biden to undergo a cognitive test just as Democrats demanded of former President Donald Trump—which he obliged them with and passed with flying colors while in the White House.
At 79, Biden is the oldest president to ever have served, and his mental acuity has shown dangerous signs of slippage, especially over the last two years.
Thirty-seven GOP lawmakers joined former White House Doctor Rep. Ronny Jackson in signing the letter, including Republican leadership members House Republican Conference chairwoman Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York, GOP conference vice chairman Mike Johnson of Louisiana, Republican Study Committee chairman Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana, and several members of the GOP Doctors Caucus.
The representatives express “concern” with Biden’s “current cognitive state” in the letter.
Jackson has long questioned Biden’s mental fitness and the Democrat leader has been showing worrying signs even since he was on the campaign trail.
“My colleagues and I are again asking President Biden to immediately undergo a formal cognitive screening exam, such as the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA),” Jackson said.
“As a former physician to three Presidents of the United States, I know what it takes mentally and physically to execute the duties of Commander-in-Chief and Head of State,” Jackson continued.
“Joe Biden has continually proven to me and to the world that something isn’t right. The American people deserve to have absolute confidence in their President’s cognitive ability.”
Jackson said Biden’s taking “the cognitive test will be an important first step” to reassure Americans that he is fit for the office. Or, he said, the test could help “in identifying and properly treating symptoms of impairment that are consistent with a variety of cognitive diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, vascular dementia, Parkinson’s, or multiple sclerosis.”
The doctor further said that all Americans should take an interest in what the potential findings from such a test would be – saying the issue is bigger than simple partisanship.
“This is not a partisan issue. When I discussed taking a cognitive test with President Trump, he was eager to assure the American people and to put the fake news media’s stories to bed,” the former presidential doctor wrote. “Why won’t President Biden do the same?”
“We can only assume the worst if he doesn’t submit to the same standard that his own party demanded of the last administration,” he added. “The precedent has been set.”
In the letter, the Republicans say that they “believe that, regardless of gender, age, or political party, all Presidents should follow the example set by former President Trump to document and demonstrate sound mental abilities.”
“While you underwent your annual physical exam on November 19, 2021, you either did not face a cognitive test or those results were withheld from the public.”
“The Alzheimer’s Association lists ‘changes in mood and personality,’ including being more ‘easily upset’ as one of ten signs of mental decline,” they wrote. “You displayed this type of mood change during a cabinet meeting on January 24, 2022, when you apparently did not know your microphone was on after finishing your opening remarks, and you called a White House reporter a ‘stupid son of a b—-’ in response to a question he asked on inflation.”

I believe anyone running for President should have to undergo this test BEFORE even going into the primaries. Also…extensive background searches for appropriate eligibility via birth situations, according to our Constitution. Obama would have been disqualified, along with Kamala Harris as VP. Though she grew up in CA, her parents were not native born as directed in the Constitution. Everything, in this most serious and important job should be scrutinized BEFORE running for office.

And suppose Biden fails his cognitive test and is removed from office. Would we be better off with Harris as President and Pelosi as VP? To me, that would be worse.
No, we need for the 2022 election take care of this problem. The GOP takes over congress and the house elects Trump as speaker of the house because as we all know, you don’t have to be a sitting member of congress to be elected as their speaker. He then impeaches both Biden and Harris for treason or high crimes and the senate throws them both out of office. And as Speaker, second in line, Trump become President. Then all he has to do is pick a VP. In 2024, would have to run again.

Here we have a family who has taken money from these adversaries and promised what in return? They have compromised the world peace structure for personal gain. Think, Biden is hoping for war, to avoid resolving issues they created, which are now above his capability to resolve. He has surrounded his office with like minded in affected creatures who lack the brains and ability to compete on the world stage. These people have lied to Congress, broken’s established laws, spent money with out the approval of Congress, left lives and material on the battlefields which was not theirs to waste, and today have avoided any responsibility for their actions, but guess what 2022 midterms are just around the corner and the American people will have they say, impeachment and jail will be in the cards for their abuse of power and neglect to honor their oaths.
It looks to voters that the President is afraid of taking the test. More reason for demanding that he does.
