Don’t Feel Sorry for Mueller – An Evil Elderly Person Is Still Evil

Aside from a few moments of lucidity, former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s testimony before the House about his big Russian collusion investigation was a shocking farce. Mueller was lost at times in the hearing room – he really looked like he didn’t know where he was.

His testimony was confusing, contradictory and yet conclusive: There was no Russian collusion by the Trump campaign and no obstruction of justice. Republicans in the hearing did a stellar job in proving that the Mueller probe was filled with double standards, newly invented legal procedures for Trump that have never been applied to any other person, and venomous hatred for the target of a federal investigation by the investigators.

Mueller was foggy and confused through most of the six-hour hearing. He didn’t even seem familiar with the report that bears his name.

He was unfamiliar with Fusion GPS, the Clinton “oppo research” firm that created the infamous, discredited Steele dossier. One spectacular benefit of the hearing was that you could audibly hear the Democrats’ dreams of impeachment dying.

But many people expressed sympathy for Robert Mueller after the hearing. He’s a frail old man, and it was just too bad that the Democrats forced him to come in and testify.

Tucker Carlson said he felt bad for Mueller, because a guy that age should be puttering around on his dock in Maine or something. I couldn’t disagree more.

Robert Mueller is not a sympathetic figure in the Russiagate coup attempt against a sitting president. He was a co-conspirator in a seditious act. He just happened to get old and befuddled at some point along the way.

Mueller’s entire career with the Justice Department and the FBI reads like a petty tyrant’s biography. He’s been an all-powerful cog in the Deep State wheel for many years – and Mueller has abused the power bestowed upon him to trample on innocent people.

That’s why he was chosen as the Special Counsel to investigate President Trump: Because he has a track record of framing people.

Sen. Ted Stevens (R-AK) was the longest-serving Republican in US Senate history when Mueller framed him on false bribery charges. As a powerful incumbent, Stevens was running for reelection, and his main Democrat challenger was a no-name mayor from Anchorage.

In early 2008, that no-name mayor (Mark Begich) was flown to Washington, DC and urged to run against the likely unbeatable Ted Stevens. Sen. Chuck Schumer and others met with Begich to assure him that he could defeat Stevens, because “something big” was coming later in the year.

FBI and IRS agents, acting under the authorization of then-FBI Director Robert Mueller, raided Stevens’ home in Girdwood in July of 2008. They picked through his collection in his wine cellar and ripped the Senator’s barbecue apart on his front porch, looking for stacks of cash that did not exist.

Just eight days before the 2008 election, federal prosecutors convicted Senator Stevens on bribery charges – improper reporting of campaign gifts on financial disclosure forms. (What had really happened was a guy had under-billed Stevens for remodeling work on his modest cabin. When that guy was arrested on a sex crimes charge, he tried to claim he had “bribed” Stevens with the remodeling work.)

Anyway, Stevens lost a shoo-in reelection bid to a no-name candidate by less than 2 percent of the vote in 2008. As a result of Mueller’s targeting and prosecution of Ted Stevens, the Democrats ended up with a slim one-vote majority in the US Senate – which was just enough for the Democrats to ram Obamacare through and get it passed into law.

The reason we have Obamacare is because Mueller prosecuted a Republican Senator.

But then a funny thing happened. Several months later, the judge discovered that federal prosecutors had withheld exculpatory information that exonerated Ted Stevens. The judge vacated the sentence against Senator Stevens and ordered an investigation of the federal team that prosecuted him while withholding exculpatory information. Mueller oversaw the whole thing.

Don’t feel sorry for Robert Mueller just because he’s now elderly. Getting old doesn’t bestow special virtue on anyone – it happens to all of us, whether we are good or bad people.

Mueller has never apologized for framing a US Senator on false charges, which resulted in the entire country being forced to live under Obamacare.

That story is just one of many examples of Mueller trampling on innocent people for the benefit of the Deep State. He deserves to be shamed, because petty above-the-law tyrants like Mueller have ruined the country.
