Trump Keeps Promise on Syria, Enrages the Establishment

President Donald Trump has been really bad for business in Permanent Washington, DC. Look no further than the latest howling mad hysteria from the Deep State “uniparty” over Trump’s decision to pull US troops out of Syria.

By keeping that campaign promise, Trump has made the establishment even angrier than they were over his threat to withhold military aid from Ukraine.

Before we get to the usual suspects in the Syria debacle, it’s important to understand why Permanent Washington wanted US forces in Syria to begin with.

Permanent Washington wants a war between America and Iran. Why? No one knows. They can’t even explain the reasons why, but that doesn’t matter to them.

It also doesn’t matter to Permanent Washington whether there’s a Democrat or Republican in the White House. They want a war with Iran – and that’s that.

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton started the Syrian civil war years ago, by arming Sunni Muslim terrorist groups and sending them to overthrow various non-Sunni Islamic governments. For a report on what a smashing success this has been, look no further than Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Mali, Somalia, Nigeria, Centrafique and Syria itself.

According to the New York Times, the Obama administration used your tax dollars to pay signing bonuses to foreign fighters from as far away as Pakistan to travel to Syria and join ISIS, all in the hopes of overthrowing the Baathist regime aligned with Iran.

When Obama sent American troops to Syria, they were initially helping ISIS in the attempt to overthrow the Baathist government. When Obama left office and Trump came on board, Permanent Washington simply shrugged and said, “Okay, now we’re fighting ISIS.”

The real goal all along was to keep US forces on the ground in hopes that a bunch of them would be killed by Iran, which would be used as the pretext for the war that Permanent Washington really, really wants.

What no one in the Deep State anticipated was that Trump would team up with Russia and bomb the tar out of ISIS, leaving the Baathist regime safely ensconced in Syria.

With that mission accomplished, a mop-up job that other countries can handle is the only task left. After Trump fired neocon warmonger John Bolton’s moustache, he said, “Enough is enough” and finally called for the remaining Americans to be pulled out of Syria. Promises made, promises kept, as the saying goes.

“It is time for us to get out of these ridiculous Endless Wars, many of them tribal, and bring our soldiers home,” Trump announced on Twitter.

Permanent Washington has erupted like a volcano in response.

The far left “Morning Joe” program on MSNBC declared that Trump has “surrendered to ISIS.” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) called the decision to remove American troops from Syria a “big win for ISIS.” (Hey, Lindsey, was it a big win for ISIS when Trump stopped paying signing bonuses to foreign fighters who joined them?)

Bloodthirsty neocon Nimrata Randhawa, better known as “Nikki Haley,” hysterically declared that Trump was “leaving the Kurds to die.”

That’s hilarious. The tribal Kurds have only been at war with rival Islamic tribes for the past 1,100 years… but they’re all going to die now that Donald Trump has pulled 200 American soldiers out of Syria.

I think the Kurds will be just fine, Nimrata. Shouldn’t you be organizing another cruise with John Bolton so you can explain to Republican voters about how we’re all doing conservatism wrong by not going to war with Iran?

Once again, President Trump has shown that he understands the heartland voters of America much better than Permanent Washington ever will. We’re the ones who sign up and go off to fight those wars.

I have a cousin in a wheelchair and an old high school buddy who can’t live with his own wife and kids because of his PTSD nightmares. They both did “their part” in Afghanistan, where we’ve been at war for 18 years and counting. Why? Because Permanent Washington wants it.

How are things in Iraq, today, by the way? Oh, right.

The people there are rioting in the streets, burning cars, murdering police and security forces, and trying to overthrow the democratically-elected government – because tribal Islam will never be compatible with democracy.

Iraq was yet another failure, but Permanent Washington wants more war. Kudos to Trump for bringing the troops home from Syria.

And brace yourself for the storm from Permanent Washington, because he wants to bring the boys home from Afghanistan before the election next year.
