Republicans Get Jail Time, While Democrats Get Million Dollar Book Deals

The recent 40-month sentencing of Roger Stone highlights that the American court system currently has two very different standards of justice.

Since President Donald Trump was elected, the Washington elites have targeted him and anyone connected to his campaign in a series of never-ending witch hunts. Several who worked with the president have suffered unfair investigations, prosecutions, and disproportionate sentences compared to Democrats.

Roger Stone is a case in point because his Hillary donating persecutors masquerading as impartial justice department officials misled U.S. Attorney William Barr about his proposed sentence. Stone, an eccentric, over-the-top political consultant, was convicted by a left-wing political activist jury and Obama-appointed judge. He would have been hit with nine years if Barr had not uncovered the plot.

Stone’s unfair treatment is just the tip of the spear when considered in the context of Democrats who have committed offenses.

By contrast, disgraced former FBI Director James Comey was the subject of an investigation demanded by Republicans. The probe uncovered that the scamming G-man did, in fact, leak confidential information related to ongoing investigations to the media for personal benefit. This is something that would land the average citizen or conservative political activist in jail if they admitted to doing it.

“By not safeguarding sensitive information obtained during the course of his FBI employment, and by using it to create public pressure for official action,” the inspector general concluded. “Comey set a dangerous example for the over 35,000 current FBI employees — and the many thousands more former FBI employees — who similarly have access to or knowledge of non-public information.”

His penalty is a mulit-million dollar book deal, paid speeches, and free media exposure, among others.

“He’s been traveling the country giving six-figure paid speeches on leadership, as well as gratis appearances at universities,” Business Insider reported.

Comey also got $3 million for his self-glorification book, A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies and Leadership.

“And then there’s the forthcoming CBS Studios miniseries, in which he’ll be portrayed by actor Jeff Daniels.”

Adding insult to injury, former Gen. Michael Flynn faces jail time for failing to disclose he did some lobbyist work for Turkey during the Obama years and wasn’t forthright about a phone call with his Russian counterpart before he was officially sworn into his position. Jail versus a multi-million dollar book and television deal.

And that’s not all. Former US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch just scored herself a million dollar book deal for opposing Trump. After the President recalled Yovanovitch, she turned on him and squealed to Democrats at his impeachment hearing that this was just all so unfair.

What the media didn’t tell you was that Trump recalled her after learning she directed US intelligence assets in Ukraine to spy on American journalists who were asking questions and getting to close to the truth when it came to Joe Biden and his son Hunter’s dealings in Ukraine.

Another anti-Trump liberal who “lost everything” for her “bravery,” of course, was Christine Blasey-Ford. The media told us that Christine Blasey-Ford “had nothing to gain” by making up her allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. How’s she doing today? Is she picking up cans out of the trash after she paid such a huge sacrifice?

No, of course not. In fact, the financial coddling of Christine Blasey-Ford actually started before she lied in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee. We just didn’t find out about it until after the fact.

Remember how Blasey-Ford asked the Judiciary Committee to postpone her testimony because she would have to drive across the country – because she had a fear of flying due to her encounter with Brett Kavanaugh that didn’t happen 30 years ago? It turns out she flew to the hearing, but she didn’t fly commercial.

A pair of Silicon Valley tech oligarchs lent her the use of their private plane to fly to the hearing, so she wouldn’t have to be around any deplorables on her flight. Reid Hoffman, the co-founder of LinkedIn, and Mark Pincus, the founder of game company Zynga, loaned her the use of their plane to fly to the hearing. They even hired a special stewardess just for that flight, so Blasey-Ford wouldn’t have to speak to the icky pilots flying the private jet.

Cheryl Sandberg, the Chief Operating Officer of Facebook, recommended the team of attorneys who represented Blasey-Ford at the hearing. Sandberg’s sister is friends with one of Blasey-Ford’s friends.

In addition, Blasey-Ford raked in more than a million dollars from crowdfunding donations for testifying against Kavanaugh. Because – ha! – she had nothing to gain. Meanwhile, according to the latest reports, Blasey-Ford has been entertaining several book offers in a bidding war for her “story.”

Yovanovitch is represented by the same literary agency that handled Comey and Bolton’s books, because of course she is. But don’t worry – there’s no such thing as a Deep State.

Yovanovitch, like Comey, Andrew McCabe, and Hillary, should be sitting in a jail cell. But Democrats with power, influence, and connections, don’t go to prison. They get paid. Only conservatives go to jail.
