Kamala Harris Invokes Ancient News to Prove Trump & America Racist

It’s tough to decide which Democrat running for the 2020 nomination is the biggest race huckster. Al Sharpton threatened to enter the race a few weeks ago, but then changed his mind. If he had run, this would be a much easier question to answer.

Kirsten Gillibrand has dropped out of the race as well. She was a master at lecturing poor white single mothers about how their white privilege gives them an unfair leg up in life. But now that Gillibrand has fallen by the wayside, I think we have to call this contest for Kamala Harris.

Harris is invoking a racially motivated crime from 64 years ago in order to smear Donald Trump and all his voters, by extension, as “racists.” Speaking from the bully pulpit of Twitter, Harris wrote:

“On this day in 1955, Emmett Till was abducted and brutally murdered. He was only 14 years old. The hatred, racism, and white supremacy that killed Emmett is still pervasive in 2019.”

Quick question: If hatred, racism and white supremacy are really so pervasive in 2019, why doesn’t Kamala Harris have a more recent example than this one from 64 years ago?

The Emmett Till murder at the hands of Democrats occurred almost a decade before Kamala Harris was even born.

Another possible way of looking at the Emmett Till homicide is that it occurred 40 years before Kamala Harris began sleeping her way to the top of California politics.

This is not being said to belittle Emmett Till in any way. What the Democrats did to that poor kid was awful.

Two white non-police Democrats really did kidnap him, torture him and kill him. Then, a jury of Democrats acquitted the two murderers.

The entire incident was so terrible that it inspired the Republican Party to pass the Civil Rights Act, in a move to discourage Democrats from kidnapping, torturing and murdering any additional black teenagers.

Kamala Harris didn’t start this modern-day Emmett Till craze, however. When Barack The Chosen One Obama dialed racial identity politics up to eleven in order to shield his socialist policies from all criticism, we suddenly started seeing a lot more references to Emmett Till.

Since the election of Donald Trump, the New York Times has gone positively loopy for Emmett Till. There were areas in rural America that still didn’t have electricity when Emmett Till lost his life, but Obama, the New York Times and Kamala Harris are insistent that this is still the same ole country.

Blogger Steve Sailer chronicled the hilarious skyrocketing of Emmett Till news in the New York Times in a 2018 article.

Here are the number of mentions that Emmett Till used to receive on a regular basis, compared to in the Obama and post-Obama eras:

1980: 0 Emmett Till mentions
1990: 2 mentions
2000: 4 mentions
2004-2012: 9 mentions per year
2013-2016 (Obama’s second term): 24 mentions per year
2017: 72 mentions
2018: 92 mentions

In 2019, the Times is averaging two or more stories per week that mention Emmett Till. Just to be clear, there are no new developments in this case from 64 years ago.

We know everything about the case that we’re probably ever going to know, from beginning to end.

Langston Hughes, William Faulkner, Rod Serling, Gwendolyn Brooks, Harper Lee, James Baldwin and Bob Dylan wrote poems, essays, novels, television episodes and songs about the Emmett Till case – before Kamala Harris was even born.

There are roads and schools named for Emmett Till, and there’s even a statue of him with Martin Luther King, Jr. in Pueblo, Colorado – a place that young Emmett never visited in his short lifetime.

There have been three major documentary films about Emmett Till, including a big taxpayer funded one on PBS. He’s been the subject of countless movies and TV shows dating back to the 1960s.

A short film about Emmett Till’s uncle was nominated for an Academy Award… in 2018. There’s even a USS Emmett Till spaceship in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine television series, set hundreds of years in the future. I think we’ve got the Emmett Till story adequately covered, New York Times.

The big problem for Kamala Harris and the Times is that America ran out of white racists a long time ago, so all they have left is an ancient news story about Emmett Till.
