John Podesta ADMITS Both the Hillary Campaign and the DNC Paid for the Steele Dossier

The declassified transcripts of Adam Schiff’s intelligence committee hearings promise to be gifts that keep on giving. Everyone knows that the salacious and fictitious Steele Dossier was what James Comey used to get CNN and their lying cronies to get the whole disgraceful Russian collusion episode started.

Hillary Clinton and John Podesta have repeatedly claimed they knew nothing about the dossier, even though the now declassified transcripts shows Podesta admitting to paying for them in conjunction with the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

Comey and his deep state cronies used the made-up report from Christopher Steele to convince the FISA court to allow the wiretapping of Trump campaign staffer Carter Page. Page was never charged with a crime, but his reputation was destroyed.

The recent release of the committee transcript shows that Podesta, who was the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, admitted under oath that the Clinton Campaign and the DNC BOTH paid for the Christopher Steele dossier on Trump. During the hearing Podesta was reminded of previous testimony where he said he didn’t know his folks had paid for the research. His weasel-worded explanation, “I think that I only learned subsequently that the payments were made…50 percent from the campaign, 50 percent from the DNC. I didn’t know that at the time I was before the Senate.”

Even the Democrats on the committee must have rolled their eyes at that one. The head of the campaign wasn’t aware that his campaign paid big bucks for research on their election foe?

This is a huge deal, folks. President Trump knew the investigation was a hoax from the start. It is remarkable that he showed such restraint. During the over two years and $30 million investigation sponsored by the losing Democrat establishment and paid for by our tax dollars he still managed to do a great job in keeping America first.

As Hillary does her unbelievable impression of Hogan’s Heroes’ Sergeant Schultz (“I know nuh-tink!”), her past denials ring as hollow as her bad campaign performance. She has proved once again, she has no problem lying to Americans with a straight face.

Perkins Coie, a legal firm acting on Hillary’s behalf, funneled over $1.02 million to Fusion GPS in fees and expenses for outsourced opposition research expenses. The DNC and Clinton campaign disclosed that amount on their campaign finance reports. In fact, Hillary has boasted that when she took over the helm, the DNC was in a mess—and she fixed it.

So, here’s the bottom line: Hillary Clinton paid for opposition research. Despite obvious mistakes that should have tipped her team off that the research was bunk she took it and distributed it to members of Congress and the media.  James Comey took that research to the FISA court and bugged a Trump campaign official—under false pretenses. He too knew the information contained in it to be full of lies. This means that the entire debacle from fake dossier to Robert Mueller’s miserable performance before both House Committees was all predicated on a lie, aided and abetted by a lazy, compliant mainstream press.

Attorney General Barr has promised a full investigation and accounting on this sordid affair. In the inevitable outcome of exoneration and accountability, the best we can hope for in payback for heavy hitters like Hillary Clinton and Adam Schiff is well-deserved obscurity.

Maybe Hillary will write a sequel to her self-delusional screed “What Happened” and offer up yet another excuse for her loss. This time she’ll have to explain the loss despite her attempts to cheat to win. Meanwhile, Adam Schiff will probably graduate to be the Democrats’ less than useful idiot.
