The Ferns Are Safe: Clinton Donor Pal Harvey Weinstein Going to Prison, After Donating Millions to Democrats

I’m really depressed. I had a million Corey Booker and Kamala Harris jokes lined up for the campaign season and those losers dropped out weeks ago. Hopefully the DNC, with its decades-long history of bad life choices, will rescue me in a few weeks when it forces Joe Biden to announce that Stacey Abrams, the failed candidate for Governor in Georgia, is his running mate.

But who am I supposed to mercilessly mock in Trumpian fashion until that happens? I know! Let’s pick on fern aficionado and Clinton donor pal Harvey Weinstein!

Weinstein has just been sentenced to 23 years at the Rikers Island prison in New York for sexual assault and rape. And he may get even more jail time tacked on by the time the Los Angeles District Attorney gets through with him in a separate trial. It’s worth repeating the fact that everyone in Hollywood and in Harvey’s beloved Democrat Party knew that he was the lecherous king of the quid pro quo – and they didn’t care because he had a lot of money.

As we all learned in 2019, a quid pro quo is an impeachable offense when Donald Trump doesn’t use a quid pro quo. But for Democrats and their slippery moral compass, there was nothing wrong with Harvey Weinstein telling an aspiring actress that he will make her a big star if she’ll just stand next to this potted plant for a few minutes. The Party of Women (and SCIENCE!) was okey-doke with Weinstein’s lecherous behavior as long as his money was flowing straight into their campaign coffers.

Prosecutors unveiled a treasure trove of emails at Weinstein’s sentencing hearing. The emails were correspondence that Weinstein exchanged with his staff as he was trying to save his career and squash all the rumors coming out about him. Weinstein put together a “red flag” list of actors and actresses who he thought may be talking to journalists about his sexual misconduct with women. When Weinstein’s publicist learned that a story about him trying to pull his Fern Whisperer act on Jennifer Aniston was about to be printed, Weinstein wrote back, “Jen Aniston should be killed.”

That’s especially creepy when you think about it for a few moments and realize there have been an awful lot of accidental deaths, suicides and Epstein-cides in Hollywood since the #MeToo movement started. From that kid in the “Star Trek” reboot movies who squished himself in his own driveway while changing a tire (really, Deep State?) to that actor from “The Highlander” TV series who supposedly offed himself last month, an awful lot of people who knew Harvey Weinstein have passed away, haven’t they?

(Also, I’m really good at remembering dead actors’ names, as you may have noticed.)

And just so there’s a record of it, here is what Harvey Weinstein paid a bunch of Democrats in exchange for friendship and smiles, up until the public found out what the Democrats all knew was happening and they threw him under the bus:

And of course, Weinstein made countless smaller donations to a wide range of Democrats in Congress. Plus, he gave $305,000 to the Democrat National Committee, $193,000 to the Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee and $18,500 to the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee.

If Weinstein didn’t have all his money tied up in lawyer bills these days, is there any doubt that Joe Biden and Pete Buttigieg would both have their names high on that list this year?

Please lecture us all some more about President Trump and the Republican Party’s “War on Women,” ye sainted Democrats!

While you’re at it, perhaps you should put out another press release about how misogynistic and sexist the voters are, while excluding Tulsi Gabbard from the next presidential debate.

Now that Adam Schiff’s pal Ed Buck is in prison awaiting trial for murder charges and Harvey Weinstein is going to Riker’s Island for the rest of his life, the Democrat Party’s Hollywood money is really starting to dry up. It couldn’t have happened to a nicer bunch of people. In the meantime, we’ll all rest easier knowing that America’s ferns are safe from Harvey Weinstein.
