Texas GOP Declares Joe Biden Illegitimate & Unelected in State Convention
If you ever wonder if anyone in America still believes the same things you do about the 2020 election, look no further than the Texas state GOP convention that took place last weekend. State conventions are where the party faithful like you and me go and adopt the current updated party platform. Sure, the scumbag politicians show up and give speeches. But they’re usually treated badly, which was the case this past weekend. When the dust had finally settled after the platform votes, a remarkable thing happened: The Texas GOP has officially declared Joe Biden to not be an actual elected president!
The Texas Republican Party Platform has now moved further to the right than it’s been in many years. It’s more aggressive in terms of the culture wars on woke communism and family values. It’s more closely aligned to how actual people feel about politics and what’s going on in the world, as opposed to how Republican politicians act.
Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) was one of the scumbag politicians who showed up and tried to give a speech. He tried to explain the anti-gun legislation that he’s teaming up to pass with the Democrats right now – as if Texas Republican voters are a bunch of idiots who don’t understand gun legislation. He was nearly booed off the stage. You could hardly hear anything that he said, because the jeers from the crowd were so overpowering.
“Eye Patch McCain,” a.k.a. Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) also showed up. He was also heckled and jeered, and his security people roughed up some Republican voters who dared to get too close to him.
The real highlight of the convention was the platform. Check out some of the new items that the party base just voted to ratify in the latest version of the Texas Republican Party Platform.
Sexually mutilating anyone who has the mental illness of transgenderism is now considered medical malpractice in the platform. Homosexuality is declared an abnormal lifestyle choice.
The platform calls for Texas schoolchildren to be taught about the humanity of preborn children. Kids would also have to listen to an ultrasound of a baby in the womb and would be taught the commonsense notion that life begins at conception.
It would declare all businesses and jobs to be essential and a fundamental right, in direct response to the COVID lockdowns. This would bring Texas law back in line with the Declaration of Independence, since your job or your business constitutionally encompasses your right to “pursuit of happiness.”
It calls for ensuring “freedom to travel” by opposing Biden’s Green New Deal policies and “California-style, anti-driver policies” like turning traffic lanes over to the handful of people that ride bicycles to work.
The platform even calls for abolishing the federal reserve, eliminating the federal income tax and changing the Constitution to permanently cement the Supreme Court at nine justices (no court packing).
Those policies are even further to the right than most recent Texas GOP party platforms. It’s especially heartening that it places so much emphasis on school curriculum. If you don’t force the public schools to teach your values, they will teach someone else’s values – and that’s always going to be values that you are directly opposed to.
But here’s the thing that should have GOP voters across the country standing up and cheering. The official party platform of the Texas GOP now declares Joe Biden illegitimate. It reads:
“We reject the certified results of the 2020 Presidential election, and we hold that acting President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was not legitimately elected by the people of the United States.”
The only thing I object to in that statement is calling Joe Biden the “acting President.” He’s not even that! He’s a doddering dementia puppet who can’t ride a bike, who poops his pants in meetings with the Pope, and who took inappropriate showers with his daughter.
The Texas GOP’s declaration about the illegitimacy of Joe Biden is big and important. People just like you and me came up with the language of that platform item. They believe the 2020 election was stolen. And they believe that as much today as they did 18 months ago. Just like you and me.
