Democrat Senators Push Vague “Coronavirus Containment” Federal Force

Never underestimate Congress’ ability to take advantage and grow its own power during a time of national crisis when everyone else is distracted. You might think that Congress would concern itself with the domestic terrorist groups that are burning down cities and capturing territory in downtown Seattle. But in the midst of all that, Senate Democrats are instead moving forward with a plan to spy on your every move and stick you in a concentration camp if you catch a virus that has a 99% survival rate.

The video of George Floyd – the blessed martyr, peace be upon him – resisting arrest while overdosing on drugs in Minneapolis surfaced on May 26th. American cities have been burning ever since. As the television screens were filled with images of domestic terrorism, looting, burning and rioting, Senate Democrats quietly introduced a secretive bill on June 1st. The bill is S. 3848 – “A bill to create a Coronavirus Containment Corps.”

Sounds serious. And it is serious.

So serious, in fact, that the text of the bill still hasn’t been published on the congressional website yet for the public to read it for themselves. The bill was introduced by Senators Ed Markey (D-MA) and Jeff Merkley (D-OR). Pocahontas Wonder Bread (D-MA) is also a big supporter of this plan.

While we don’t have the text of the bill yet, we were able to find a document on Pocahontas’ website talking about the need for the creation of a Coronavirus Containment Corps. Here’s the first sentence of that document:

“To stop the spread of COVID-19, we have to do just that: stop people who are infected from spreading the disease to people who are not infected.”

But the four-page document, which you can read here, never actually goes into details on how the Democrats plan to “stop” infected people from spreading the virus. I wonder why?

What the Coronavirus Containment Corps white paper does explain is the need for the creation of a brand new, massive federal bureaucracy of new public sector labor union members to spy on you. The paper recommends hiring an army of new coronavirus spies to hunt down people who have unknowingly come into contact with an infected person, so they can “stop” them.

How many federal union workers do they need to hire to “contact trace” everyone in America? The paper is really vague on that. It says the CDC should be directed to work with state and local health officials to hire as many of these new federal union workers as necessary. Whatever it takes!

120 days after coronavirus is finally declared “defeated” – and boy, is that date a moving target – the CDC can simply report back to Congress on how many brand-new federal employees it hired, and Congress will cut a check. No need for budgeting or even putting a price tag on it! It’s not like we’re dealing with real money that will have to be paid back. We’ll figure that out later because it’s a “big emergency.”

To show how important this is, Pocahontas Warren praises the efforts of Wuhan, China to use contact tracing to “defeat” the coronavirus. Ugh. Yes, Wuhan did such a spectacular job that they allowed more than a million people to flee the city once they realized that the virus couldn’t be contained. They may have paid for plane tickets for many of those refugees, so they could spread the virus in Italy and New York. But whatever. Great job, Wuhan! We should model your record of success!

The Democrats’ white paper laments the fact that the CDC only employs 2,200 contact tracers in America currently. Why don’t we have 9,000 contact tracers like Wuhan, huh? And never mind the fact that “contact tracers” in Wuhan used a spot welder to seal people inside their apartments so they could starve to death, because that is definitely not part of Pocahontas Warren’s plan as far as you know.

The Democrats’ white paper on a Coronavirus Containment Corps is big on the need to hire federal trackers to hunt people down. But it never does explain the ultimate goal which is detailed in that first sentence. How will they “stop” you from spreading the coronavirus if they think you have it?

This is chilling for two reasons. One is that they think they should have the authority to “stop” you if you catch this mild disease which seems to only be dangerous to a small demographic (very sick elderly people). The other reason is because they’re not willing to tell us how they plan to “stop” us. But I think we can all guess what the real plan is.
